When is Cobra Kai season 5 coming out?
Since the 4th season of the show came out just at the end of 2021, fans should not be expecting the new season anytime soon. As it is well-known by the show’s fans, the show was first airing on YouTube Red, until Netflix came up and bought it. After Netflix’s involvement, the new seasons of the show started to be premiered either at the beginning of the year (Season 3) or at the end of the year (Season 4).
Many sources and fans speculate that the new season will also follow this past schedule. So, the new season will probably air in late December 2022 or early January 2023. Considering that Netflix announced season 4’s release date 3 months before the season was actually released, we may find out when the new season is going to air in the Fall.

Fans were walking on air when Cobra Kai’s cocreator announced on Twitter the end of Cobra Kai’s season 5 shootings. So, we already know that season 5 is already wrapped up but we still do not have an official trailer for Cobra Kai season 5.
Yet, Netflix and the creators of the show will probably be releasing info on the new season and when to expect it. According to the timeline of the past release dates of trailers for the previous seasons, it seems that fans should have to wait a few more months before actually getting a trailer.

Though the cast of the new season has not been officially announced, fans expect to see certain members of the cast for sure. For example, it seems like a guarantee that the two main characters, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, played by Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, are going to be returning for season 5 of Cobra Kai.
The other two characters who will definitely be returning are Amanda LaRusso and Carmen Diaz, played by Courtney Henggeler and Vanessa Rubio.
As expected, the show’s main bad guys are also going to return for the new season. Johhny’s former sensei and current enemy John Kreese (Martin Kove), and his right-hand Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), who joined the show in the 4th season, are expected to be in season 5 of Cobra Kai.
