His father is Hawaiian, while his mother is German-Scottish. He received the Hawaii Model of the Year in 1999, earning him a part in Baywatch Hawaii.
He first appeared in Baywatch: Hawaii (1999-2001). Momoa rose to fame after portraying Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones (2011-2012). 2. Khal Drogo
Khal Drogo, the handsome king of HBO’s Game of Series, which locked the whole world on the screen, ranks second for us among Momoa’s best roles.
He stated that he would be playing Khal Drogo at a conference in New Zealand on October 17, 2009. He was the final actor cast for the pilot but not the last announced.
Khal Drogo was a Dothraki khalasar leader. He was commonly called “The Great Khal” and the namesake of Drogon, the last living dragon, who was his late widow’s mount.
Momoa is ranked third on our list for his performance in Dune. Jason Momoa played the courageous soldier Duncan in “Dune.”
Momoa recently portrayed a soldier for the Atreides family in “Dune.” He plays the role of Paul Atreides’ best buddy, who Timothée Chalamet plays. On the other hand, Momoa traveled to real-life places such as Abu Dhabi to film the first film in the series, “Dune.”
4. Baywatch Hawaii
Jason Momoa performed as a lifeguard on “Baywatch Hawaii” before becoming the formidable Khal Drogo of the Dothraki or the gorgeous King of the Seven Seas.
He battled off hundreds of want-to-be “Baywatch Hawaii” performers in Honolulu at the tender age of 19 to become Jason Ioane, the show’s youngest lifeguard. Momoa participated in 44 episodes of the series, which lasted from 1999 to 2001 and propelled his career, making him one of Hollywood’s dreamiest, sorry, I mean hugely sought actors—and the people of Hawaii couldn’t be more proud.
5. See (TV Series)
See (2019) is an American science fiction drama television series created for Apple TV+ that stars Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic dystopia in the far future, when two young members of a tribe believe they have the magical power to see.
Baba Voss (Jason Momoa), Chief of the Alkenny Tribe and Chief of the Hunters, is an unmatched but hesitant warrior who meets, courtesies, and marries a newcomer to town before the series even begins.
Because Baba has always desired children but has been unable to have them, Maghra (Hera Hilmar) entered the hamlet pregnant. They were destined to be together even if it appeared to be a convenient arrangement.
6. Sweet Girl 2021
Jason Momoa plays a man who is both emotional and intelligent in this film. It is pretty tough to assess an actor’s performance who can play any part!
A bereaved husband swears revenge on those responsible for his wife’s death while safeguarding his daughter’s one family he has left.
Momoa’s persona as a “large dude with a huge heart” serves him well in “Sweet Girl,” and the absence of deception in his portrayal portrays two extremes: the impermeable pain he’s holding after his wife’s murder and the surety with which he targets Keeley and his companions. The battle scenes in the film are unnecessarily cut, but Momoa holds his own, hurling his body around with conviction and passion.
While not bad, Momoa’s performance in Frontier ranks at the bottom of our ranking.
The series features Declan Harp (Jason Momoa), a half-Irish, half-Cree criminal fighting to break the Hudson’s Bay Company’s monopoly on the Canadian fur trade, which has become corrupt and engages in illegal activities to enrich itself.
We look forward to seeing Momoa on screen with new performances.
