Sometimes we felt nauseous while watching Jackass movies. Sometimes we couldn’t look at what they did, but one thing is for sure, they entertained both themselves and us.
The idea for Jackass came about after Johnny Knoxville was out of work for a long time. Knoxville, who could not find a job for a long time, made a deal with a company that sells security devices and started working as a stuntman to test those devices on himself(!). Afterward, many Jackass movies have taken place in our lives since 2002.
It was very difficult to choose between Jackass movies in the genre of documentary, action, and comedy, but we have made a ranking for you. Let’s take a look at our ranking of Jackass movies!
1. Jackass 3D
Our number one Jackass movie is Jackass 3D! In this 2010 movie, Johnny Knoxville and his gang give us the pleasure of 3D. An extreme movie that entertains the audience with its unusual and unexpected jokes. These men should be congratulated for facing such dangerous things without fear. It is a pleasure for the actors, all of whom are more daring than the other, to even attempt such a task from the very beginning.
The most explosive place of the movie is the scene with the dwarf in the “we end this movie” at the very end. It made me laugh a lot.
2. Jackass 2
In 2006’s Jackass 2, the crazy host Johnny Knoxville and his mischievous team continue to cause strange things to themselves, nature, and humanity with their various pranks. What we see in this movie: More sex, more violence, and more frivolity!
As always, there are moments that make you vomit, along with wonderfully entertaining and exciting scenes.
Jackass Forever, which joined our lives in 2022, is our number 3. The biggest feature of this movie is that it met its fans after 11 years.
Despite the passage of years, the team, which has not lost any of their energy, puts on a series of funny, ridiculous, and often dangerous shows with the help of new people added to the cast. Aside from possibly being the last film of the legendary team, the majority of the 1.5-hour movie is the grinds of the new and fake jackass crew.
3. Jackass 3.5
Jackass 3.5 is the next Jackass movie on our ranking. The film, which met us in 2011, contains parts that were not released in Jackass 3. In this movie, the unchanging Jackass team makes incredible jokes and moves that you wouldn’t dare try at home.
Among the most memorable jokes from this movie are Johnny Knoxville being dyed in camouflage to make him look like a bull, Bam Margera falling into a hole with snakes all over it, and a sheep hitting him while Ryan Dunn was playing the tuba.
4. Jackass: The Movie
Our next movie, Jackass: The Movie, is the first movie in the series and was produced in 2002.
The last scene of the movie is like a harbinger of future movies! A toy car will be inserted into a player’s anus and an X-ray will look for it. Ryan Dunn volunteers for this. As we see, this event is successful and we see Johnny Knoxville throwing the toy car into a lake via catapult.
5. Bad Grandpa
Bad Grandpa is a 2013 production and the old age of the Jackass team is involved. Unlike the other films in the series, this movie has a plot and an adventure.
In this movie, old Irving takes a tour around America and he is not alone. Accompanying him is his eight-year-old grandson Billy! What wouldn’t Irving and Billy do together! They rob stores, attend weddings of people they don’t know, make a mess, and more. We witness these with hidden camera footage.
6. Jackass 2.5
Jackass 2.5 is a 2007 production and consists of scenes and jokes that could not fit into Jackass 2.
It is the most talked-about film in the Jackass series. They talk about what they did, where their ideas for jokes came from, and how they felt while doing them. It’s pure fun for those looking for more action-packed interviews.
7. Mat Hoffman’s Tribute to Evel Knievel
The 2008 Jackass movie Mat Hoffman’s Tribute to Evel Knievel is the first Jackass movie to be screened with a different theme and plot. The film is dedicated to the memory of their stunt double, Evel Knievel, who died a year before it was released.
Alongside the usual jokes are the bonus footage showing the review of Hoffman’s career and the context of Knoxville’s visit to the hospital.
8. Bad Grandpa .5
Our last Jackass movie in our ranking, Bad Grandpa .5, is a 2014 movie. Besides the beauty of the movie Bad Grandpa, this movie contains parts that were not included in the original movie. In the 1-hour adventure, we witness other mischiefs that the grandfather and grandson do. Although it is less funny than other movies, it still manages to make you watch it.
