It’s been a while since Emily in Paris Season 2 is concluded with a surprising twist that we didn’t foresee. Now, all we want is to welcome Emily in Paris Season 3 as soon as possible.

It is no secret that Netflix has no shortage of new series. Every single day, the platform comes up with new shows with various premises and diverse casts. This is great of course since we always have something fresh and exciting to watch. However, most of these shows go in vain since they get lost among all the other releases. For the most part, we don’t even hear about those shows and get surprised whenever we spot them.

That being said, the others, which constitute a small group, flourish to a point that they turn into a cultural phenomenon immediately. With the support of their marketing team, these shows became the biggest hits of the year, and everyone either watched them or was exposed to them in one way or another.

Emily in Paris was one of those shows. Premiered in 2020, the show was a fresh breath of air for us at the time of being suffocated by many worrying global incidents. It was fun, light-hearted, and romantic, suitable to the cozy winter atmosphere. Plus, it was taking place in Paris. The series’ fashion sense was especially impactful in shaping the 2020 aesthetic. Some even argued at the time that Emily in Paris might be the new Devil Wears Prada.

Of course, this would be a bold claim to make for now. But still, we can confidently claim that the series has the potential to be big one day. Now that we finally got Season 2 as well, it is clear Emily in Paris will not be one of those Netflix shows that disappears in the crowd. Instead, we expect Season 3 of the show to be even more epic.

Will There Be an Emily in Paris Season 3?

December 22, 2021, marked the release date of Emily in Paris Season 2 on Netflix. It’s been an epic return for the Emmy-nominated series, as we finally had an answer to the cliffhanger at the end of Season 1. This time, we watched Emily struggling in both her work and romantic life as her exploration of Paris continues. Netflix is already very confident about the show’s success. The platform never hesitates to promote the series on social media, and always highlights it within the platform at every opportunity. That being said, we are still yet to have a confirmation from Netflix on Season 3 of the show.

We don’t think there is any chance of cancellation since the rumors surrounding the show also suggest that the production process for Emily in Paris Season 3 has already started. Nevertheless, we will probably wait for about a month for an official announcement on Emily in Paris Season 3. The 2nd season was announced a month after the initial premiere, meaning that we should focus on January 2022 for the Season 3 confirmation of the show.

Emily in Paris Season 3 Release Date

We expect Season 3 to be released in winter 2022, as the series loves the cozy environment as Emily tries out multiple winter creations of prominent luxury brands. We also expect to preserve the cast of the series as it is, meaning that we will get Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, and Samuel Arnold as Julien. Based on Season 2 end, we can already assume that Emily will be forced to take a radical decision that will shift her circumstances in Paris completely, and we cannot wait for it.
