Heartland Season 14 has dropped to Netflix in most parts of the world except the US. This is perhaps Heartland’s most important season. Because we lost Ty Borden which is one of our main characters this season and it contains milestones. Come on now, let’s see what happened.
Unfortunately, we made a sad beginning to Heartland Season 14 which is one of CBC’s longest-running family drama series. At the end of the thirteenth season, we witnessed him collapse to the ground due to deep vein thrombosis. Amy and Jack rushed to help him, but he wasn’t moving.
However, after the season finale that ended with such an ending, we never thought that they would open the new season with his death. We were all shocked by his death. In other seasons as well, most characters had come back from at death’s door. But this time, Ty Borden couldn’t come back from on the verge of death.
And the fourteenth season started with a time jump. That’s how painful and painful it was to say goodbye to Ty Borden. So what was the real cause of this death? Graham Wardle wanted to quit the show? Let’s get into the details of this sad event.
Why Did Graham Wardle (Ty Borden) Leave Heartland?
After the shock of Graham Wardle leaving the show, we started begging for answers to why he left. Fortunately, we soon found an answer to this question, although we were not very satisfied.
Graham Wardle replied that it was the best time for him to start a new life and a new challenge. He says: “I have been feeling this call to move on and I have been trying to bargain with it [laughs]. I have not taken this decision lightly. I have spent a few years now contemplating and trying to figure out how to honor myself and make this transition and honor the show. It’s been a long, process and the long and short of it is, I’m following my heart. I don’t know where it’s leading me but that’s what life’s about, trusting, having faith, and going forward.”
He started this series in 2007 when he was just 21 years old and we’ve had ten goodbyes this season. We have witnessed almost all of her ages. And it is very difficult for all of us to leave such a character behind.
In one of his latest interviews, he says that this departure was also the best option for copywriters. We think that the decision to leave this series was made both by his wish and by the approval of the producers and writers.
Then he continues: “I don’t think Ty wanted to die, I don’t think Ty was planning to die, I don’t think Ty was like, ‘Oh, that’s it, I’ve done all my stuff.’ But I don’t think life works in that way anyway. People pass on and we say it was before their time; they died young.” He thinks this death is a very normal process for both life and the series. He may be right about that. Because death is sudden and painful. Just like Graham Wardle, who has graced our screens with the character Ty Borden in our lives for 14 years.
Now, just like the characters in the series, it’s time to try to overcome this sudden death and achieve it. You can watch all episodes of the fourteenth season on Netflix. The best thing you can do for now is watching and enjoying a ranch life full of horses. And of course, waiting for its next fifteenth season is one of the best things to do.
