The biggest difference between Graham Wardle and Ty Borden is that Graham had never ridden a horse before the Heartland. He even took horseback riding lessons only a few days before the day of the Heartland shooting. You know that a large part of Ty’s character’s life is spent on horses. And this must be a difficult process for Graham. Fortunately, he did this very well and was able to create a great Ty Borden character for us.

We know that he’s not close to animals in real life. And it could be a very difficult role for someone afraid of these animals. Fortunately, Graham did not have such an animal fear and was easily adapted to this character. Perhaps it was not so easy for him to dive into the world of horses. But being so close to horses for a long time might have added a magnificent love for animals to his life.

While Ty Borden’s character is a veterinarian, Graham Wardle is a photographer and filmmaker in real life. Maybe he’s been such a good actor because of his involvement with art. Because of the series, he had to play a rebellious role. Especially at the beginning of the series, we saw a rebellious and arrogant teenager due to having family problems. Then, as his age got along, this rebellion, of course, did not remain.

But again, this was a difficult road for Graham Wardle, who has a dove personality in his real life. We know he didn’t have those family problems in his real life. At least Graham Wardle didn’t give us that information. This is one of the biggest differences between the character of  Graham Wardle and Ty Borden.
