Carl Weber’s The Family Business is an American crime family drama based on his successful crime drama book series. Originally conceived as an independent film franchise, BET produced it in 2018 as an eight-episode limited series.
The Duncans are a good-hearted family that owns and manage an exotic vehicle business in New York. Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, and Armand Assante are the film’s stars.
This is a coming-of-age story about a young man trying to break out of his family’s kosher butcher shop. Joseph overhears an old, annoying friend at a party announcing that France will soon legalize marijuana. He decides to turn the butcher shop into a marijuana café and drives to the Netherlands to see how things operate there. The family accidentally kills their boss, Jaures, in self-defense after being threatened by a rival drug lord. Their operation is busted, and they are sent to prison, but just as they are about to be released, they are broken out and taken abroad.

American family drama Promised Land had its broadcast debut on ABC on January 24, 2022. The novel’s protagonist is Joe Sandoval, the patriarch of two mixed-race Latino families who owns a prosperous vineyard in Sonoma County, California, and is getting ready to transfer the administration of the property to one of his children.
Conflicts with a hotel owner who accuses Sandoval, who purchased the vineyard from her father, of being responsible for her father’s passing, and difficulties with undocumented Mexican immigrants who come to work at the vineyard are two sub-plots. The series’ final five episodes had their Hulu premieres. The show was formally canceled after one season in May 2022.

The 1980s prime-time soap opera of the same name inspired the American drama television series Dynasty. The first season, created by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, and Sallie Patrick stars Grant Show as the father of the family, Nathalie Kelley as Blake’s new wife Cristal, Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon Carrington, Blake Carrington and James Mackay as his son Steven.
Fallon and Steven Carrington are siblings who learn about their millionaire father; Blake is engaged to Cristal, a family firm employee. When Fallon’s attempts to separate the couple backfire and lead her to a promotion, she joins forces with Blake’s nemesis and goes it alone. The arrival of Cristal’s nephew Sam threatens to expose his mother’s shady past.

An American soap opera that airs during prime time is called Saints & Sinners. Including Gloria Reuben, Keith Robinson, Clifton Powell, Vanessa Bell Calloway, and Christian Keyes. As the first original drama for the network, the series debuted on the African-American-focused television network Bounce TV on March 6, 2016.

Terri Kopp produced the BET television series In Contempt, which stars Erica Ash. Injustice in the American court system is examined in the series. On April 10, 2018, the show debuted. But in September 2019, BET decided to end the show after just one season.
The procedurals follow Gwen Sullivan (Erica Ash), an outspoken lawyer who is undoubtedly the most skilled public defender in her area. It is set in the fast-paced environment of a legal aid office in New York City.

A comedic web series, The Hook Up Plan is the second French program produced on Netflix after Marseille. Elsa, approaching her 30th birthday and working an uninteresting job, discovers that she is still fixated on him two years after their split. To help her break out of her rut and regain some confidence, her friends decide to hire a male escort to go on a few dates with her.
