Raising Dion

The Netflix superhero series Raising Dion chronicled the narrative of Dion Warren, a young boy who finds he has abilities and begins learning how to manage them, and we could not understand why it was canceled at all! Raising Dion is the 1st unfairly canceled Netflix series and it was terminated because of money issues.

The series is about Dion’s mother, Nicole, as much as it is about him and we are devastated that this series has been discontinued. Raising Dion is a program that depicts a highly realistic representation of a strong bond between a widowed African-American mother and her kid. The show’s significance to the history of American television and the Afro-American experience in the medium is just excellent.

2. Marco Polo

Marco Polo

Marco Polo

The synopsis of Marco Polo is as follows: Marco Polo, a young Venetian merchant, is deserted by his father for the commercial Silk Road in the hands of Kublai Khan, and it is the 2nd unfairly canceled Netflix series that we did not understand why it got terminated! Kublai notices Marco’s keen sense of observation and teaches him about Mongolian culture and Marco learns more about the society.

Well-read history enthusiasts will thoroughly like Netflix’s 2 seasons of Marco Polo and we think its discontinuation is unjustified! It had a compelling drama, ratings, and revenues. Apparently, the series caused a $200 million loss for Netflix and was shelved after the incident.

3. Sense8

Sense8

Sense8

Sense8 tells the narrative of eight strangers from across the world who are thrown into each other’s lives, secrets, and peril, and it is the 3rd unfairly canceled Netflix series on our list. The characters try to figure out what their unusual connection means, and we think there isn’t another series that has had such an impact on the viewers on so many levels. This show is a hidden gem, and we do not understand why it is buried and unadvertised.

Although the cancelation is understandable from a financial POV, this series is a gift that should have never ended. We hope someone would just pick it up and continue so we can watch it again.

4. The OA

The OA

The OA

In The OA, Prairie Johnson, an adoptive young lady has been missing for seven years and we do not understand why it was canceled with such an intriguing plot. The OA is another unfairly canceled Netflix series and the reason was that the show could not get enough attention from the viewers. OA stands for original angel and Prairie claims herself to be the OA, and for those of you who love science fiction and are looking for quality, intelligent, innovative stories, The OA is a refreshing change.

5. Santa Clarita Diet

Santa Clarita Diet

Santa Clarita Diet

Santa Clarita Diet involves Sheila and Joel Hammond, two married estate brokers with a funny plot: when Sheila dies and awakens undead with a hunger for human flesh, their lives take a nasty turn and this show was absolutely more realistic in solving problems than most shows we have ever seen. Santa Clarita Diet is another unfairly canceled Netflix series because of budget reasons.

To summarize briefly, the program appears to be boring at first, but it is not because it continues drawing you in with cliffhangers, and every time you think you are done with the episode, there’s another cliffhanger that will force you to watch another episode.

6. Daredevil

Daredevil

Daredevil

Daredevil was launched by Netflix in 2015, and it truly demonstrated what a dark superhero program might be like. Daredevil’s main character is Matt Murdock, a blind attorney by day and avenger by night. Through the show we watched him using his increased skills as Daredevil to protect Hell’s Kitchen outside the system.

What makes the plot interesting is that he is also trying to live a regular life during the day. The reason for this unfairly canceled Netflix series termination is linked with the issue between Marvel and Netflix, and it seems like Marvel is trying to sever its ties with the streaming site.
