Saying goodbye to us on Friday, Netflix Geeked Week 2022 made us smile with dozens of surprises and good news. It didn’t forget to dedicate its last day to games. Here is our summary if you missed it!
Presented by Geoff Keighley and Mari Takahashi, Netflix Geeked Week 2022 introduced a host of new games on Friday, along with news about existing games. Many of these new games are inspired by existing series! This is very exciting because we watched TV series inspired by games in general.
Let’s learn more about these games that take advantage of all the elements of the developing game technology!

Sonic Prime
Sonic Prime has been with us since our childhood and we have watched his different adventures in different productions over the years. According to the news at Netflix Geeked Week 2022, we will be watching his new story very soon! This time Sonic Prime will fight his enemies in a multiverse. In this process, he will both discover himself and start to find permanent solutions.
That being said, this will be such a story that it will be like meeting Sonic all over again! Here are the first images from Sonic Prime:
Dota: Dragon’s Blood
With its 2 seasons consisting of 8 episodes each, Dota: Dragon’s Blood impressed us a lot. It’s the serialized version of the game version we’ve been playing for years. Our dragon slayer Davion is determined to save the world from evil, but his job is not easy. On this challenging and fantastical journey, Davion encounters an eldwurm, Princess Mirana, and many more. Events continue to progress in an unexpected way.
While we are sad that this adventure is over and there will be no more, good news came from Netflix Geeked Week 2022. We have learned that Dota: Dragon’s Blood season 3 will arrive on August 11 and we will be able to witness its adventures again. Here are the first images:
Tekken: Bloodline
Again, we have an animated version of one of the legendary games! Tekken: Bloodline, the Japanese fighting game that we all have played and are familiar with at least once, came with good news at Netflix Geeked Week 2022. Tekken: Bloodline focuses on the story of Jin Kazama, which is eagerly awaited by both game players and animation lovers. Although no release date has been given in Netflix Geeked Week yet, we believe it will arrive towards the end of 2022.
Here is an exclusive clip and news about animation from the comments with director Katsuhiro Harada!
The Queen’s Gambit: Chess
Surprise! Perhaps this was one of the most pleasing news of Netflix Geeked Week 2022. The Queen’s Gambit: Chess game is coming, which will both relieve our longing for The Queen’s Gambit, which we watched with adoration, and remind us of our closeness to chess!
According to what was said at Netflix Geeked Week, the game, which will contain the faces we see in the series, allows us to play both alone and against the computer. We will be able to both play chess and learn new tactics with people we know or not.
The game will be a mobile game, but again, no specific release date has been announced. Our estimation is that it will meet with us by the end of 2022. The first trailer for The Queen’s Gambit: Chess game was released with Netflix Geeked Week 2022. Let’s watch!
La Casa De Papel: The Game
This is our news for La Casa de Papel fans and those who miss them. La Casa de Papel is a game! We already knew that the Korean version of La Casa de Papel would come, but this news excited us too.
The mobile game, which will be brought together by Killasoft, will take place in Monaco. The professor won’t be able to say no to his friend who asks for help to support the heist, and bad things will happen to a billionaire’s casino. Netflix Geeked Week 2022 has informed us a lot about the content, but there is no official release date for the game yet! You can witness the realism of the characters and the perfection of the lines from the first images shown in the game:

Shadow And Bone: Destinies
Shadow And Bone: Destinies is a popular production of Netflix Geeked Week 2022 on different days. On the first day of Geeked Week, we learned that the shooting of the 2nd season is over and that the production, which we learned will meet with us in 2023, will also be a video game.
You will be able to choose any of the Shadow And Bone: Destinies characters in the game. Also you will get enough of the Grishaverse world in the game blended with storytelling. On top of that, we’ll also make the decisions about key events to determine our character’s fate. What else? Like Shadow And Bone: Destinies season 2, we think that the game will meet us in 2023.
Grishaverse rejoice! Our first game announced out of #GeekedWeek is a brand new Shadow & Bone game!
