The German spy-thriller Kleo was a quick watch for many as it was only 8-episode-long, and some people might have felt the season finale lacked closure. Most shows like Kleo tend to leave their viewers yearning for more episodes as the mystery never gets solved until the end. And as the 1st season’s final episode showed us, there is more to tell in Kleo’s story, which probably means there may be a Kleo Season 2 in the near future.

As a result, Erica gets sentenced to 15 consecutive life sentences. However, when 3 years later, Tal comes back to the scene, and the FBI special agent in charge of hunting Tal recruits Erica to join on the hunt. The show only has 1 season (13 episodes) and surely will be enjoyed by viewers of Kleo.
2. Taken
Another series you can watch until Kleo Season 2 comes out is Taken (2017-2018), based on the famous film series of the same name. The series works as an origin story for the character Bryan Mills, played by Liam Neeson in the film franchise. Mills is a former Green Beret who deals with a personal tragedy. While trying to exact revenge on those who caused the tragic incident, Mills also becomes a superspy for the CIA, which makes him show off his deadly skills. If you liked Kleo’s revenge story, you would definitely enjoy Taken, which has 2 seasons consisting of 26 episodes in total.
3. Labaule & Erben
On a list of shows like Kleo, Labaule & Erben (2018) seems like an odd choice since it is a comedy-drama, but we wanted to recommend a series with dramatic aspects like Kleo but also times of comedy that will give you a good time. This German show follows Wolfram Laubale, who, after losing his father and older brother in an accident, has to succeed them as the leader of a publishing empire that has been continuing for many generations. Labaule & Erben was a mini-series consisting only of 6 episodes.

Para – We Are King (2021- ) is a German drama following 4 young women living in Berlin, a world where light and darkness are closer than ever. As the women try to earn money in a dangerous business, they get entangled with the Russian mafia. As a result, their lives become dark, and their friendship rocky. The show only has 6 episodes.
5. Luna and Sophie
Luna & Sophie (2020- ) is on the list of shows similar to Kleo. It is a German drama following 2 female police detectives, who are best friends but also quite different from each other. While Luna is strong-willed but naive, which gets her into a lot of trouble, Sophie is more mature but has a desire for things being fair and in harmony. They work together to solve crimes in a small city called Potsdam, near Berlin. If you like shows that follow mainly female protagonists on their exciting journeys, just like Kleo, Luna & Sophie seems a right fit. The show has 2 seasons (16 episodes.)
6. You Are Wanted

When one day Lukas is hacked by an unknown person, his whole digital identity gets changed, and he is even suspected of being a terrorist. He unites with another victim of hacking, and together they try to find the person(s) responsible for this crime. With its mystery and chasing down, You Are Wanted is one of the best options for those who wish to watch something before Kleo Season 2 arrives. The series has only 2 seasons, with each season having only 6 episodes.
