Showtime comedy-drama series Shameless ran for 11 seasons ever since it has premiered back in 2011. The show was well-received and moved on to become one of America’s longest-running live-action television shows. What about Shameless Season 12? Is the beloved series renewed or canceled? We know that the series’ fans have been expecting a renewal announcement for a long time. Let’s start with what we know about Shameless Season 12 in order to get answers to your questions.
Shameless Season 12
Shameless Season 11 premiered in December 2020 after being confirmed in January 2020. Showtime also announced that the 11th season of Shameless would be the series’ final season. That is to say, Shameless Season 12 will not air because the long-running drama series was canceled. We think the final episode of Shameless, which aired in April 2021, was a satisfactory way to end the series.
We will undoubtedly miss that shambolic family tremendously. They could, however, return at any time with a fresh tale. Who knows what will happen! In fact, a six-episode limited series under the name of Shameless Hall of Shame was released in December 2020. If you haven’t watched it yet, this miniseries might be a nice way to satisfy your Shameless cravings.
