Inspired by the novel 44 Chapters About 4 Men, written by BB Easton, Sex/Life’s first season aired in June 2021, and just 3 months later in September, the show was renewed for a second season. The first season received too much of a backlash from many critics, receiving a score of 23 percent at Rotten Tomatoes. However, against all these reviews, the series was streamed by 67 million households in the first month after its release.
The series focuses on Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) who is in a marriage with an investment banker Cooper (Mike Vogel). The couple even has two children together, seeming like a perfectly happy family from the outside but Billie has a lot of doubts about her life over whether she should choose an incredible sex life with her ex-boyfriend Brad (Adam Demos) or continue to stay with her husband and children, accepting a lackluster relationship.
Throughout the first season, we saw Billie going back and forth between her past life and her current state. In the final episode, she finally decided to stay with her family but in the last minutes, she changed her mind, deciding to live an affair with Brad. So, the ending of the first season left a lot of room for season 2 and we are actually wondering if we are going to see the same characters again in the second season. Adam Demos (36) is an Australian actor best known for his role as Jack in the Netflix film Falling Inn Love. Surprisingly for the fans, Demos is dating Sarah Shahi, who plays Billie in Sex/Life. According to reports, the pair fell in love during the shooting of the Netflix series, and they have been together since then as the couple still shares their photos together on Instagram.

Margaret Odette plays Sasha, Billie’s best friend, and a psychology professor who is living a single life. She is always there for Billie and tries to convince her that married life is what is best for her.
Odette is a Haitian-American actress who does not like to share anything about her dating life. So, we do not know if she has a partner or not.

Li Jun Li plays Francesca, Cooper’s boss who is a successful and strong businesswoman. She has feelings for Cooper and wants him in her life and towards the end of Sex/Life season 1, we see that she is successful at that as well.
Li Jun Li (38) is never been married and has no children. She is really secretive about her personal life which makes it impossible to know if she is dating someone or not.

Jonathan Sadowski (42) plays Devon, Cooper’s colleague and friend who is a swinger. Since 2010, Sadowski has been dating Melissa Lynn, a stylist. Sadowski even proposed to her in 2015 and they are still together.
