Thousands of fans of the Netflix show Raising Dion is dying to know if there is going to be a Raising Dion Season 3, although the show’s second season arrived at the beginning of February. The show is about a single mom Nicole (played by Alisha Wainwright), who realizes that he has to be protected and raised safely because he has superpowers. The Season 1 of the series was an origin story, explaining where Dion’s (played by young actor Ja’siah Young) powers came from. We found out that his powers were hereditary, coming from his father (Michael B. Jordan) who was one of the scientists exposed to cosmic energy in Iceland.
We saw Dion’s father Mark and many other scientists dying because of this exposure. and also Mark’s best friend Pat, becoming a villain who was driven mad with lust for power after the exposure. This villain was called “The Crooked Man” and, in season 2, we learn that it was an entity that just used Pat’s body for its evil purposes, which continues to use other hosts and feeds on the darkest impulses of the human mind. When the main characters learn the truth about the crooked energy, Dion works with other people with superpowers to fight against it.
However, there are still many questions waiting to be answered like will there be a season 3 of Raising Dion, and will The Crooked Energy and other characters return for a third season? Let us try and find the answers to these questions.
Will there be a Season 3 of Raising Dion?

Unfortunately, we do not know yet despite the fact that the end-credit scene left so many question marks for future possibilities. However, if we consider the renewal of the show for a season 2 came three months after the first season was released, it is safe to assume that we have to wait at least a month or two before hearing such an announcement for a season 3.
Yet, the end-credit scene showed a glimpse of the future where Pat was leading an army and was confronted by a figure he did not recognize, who called himself “Mind Mover” which was the identity Dion had given himself. Some fan theories argue that this version of Dion is from the future, going back in time to help Dion fight against Pat and his army. If this turns out to be right, we will see in Season 3, Dion confronting his future self.
What will happen to Nicole?

Of course, we do not know for sure what is going to happen to Nicole in the next season but we know that she recovered from the infection she had gotten from the strange flowers. So, she made it through and was alive at the end of Season 2. We believe Nicole is a crucial character for the show who will definitely be in the third season.

We do not know which time period the next season is going to cover but we think we are going to start seeing Dion’s teenage years and him trying to deal with the problems of being a teenager. Also, as we mentioned above, if the theories about the post-credit scene are true, we may see future Dion and current Dion having a confrontation, and they may even become a team while fighting a war against Pat and his team of villains.

Like we already said, we expect Dion and his mother Nicole to come back for the next season as they are the most important characters in the show. We also expect Dion’s best friends Jonathan (Gavin Munn) and Esperanza (Sammi Haney), who form The Triangle of Justice with him, to come back for the third season.
Pat (Jason Ritter) and David Marsh (Josh Ventura) are also expected to return for another season.
We should also remind you that none of this is certain as Netflix has not renewed the show for another season yet. We will just have to wait and see!
