Manifest, one of the shows of Netflix’s Geeked Week Special has gotten the hype up recently. The popular supernatural drama series was one of the topics of Geeked Week 2022, Netflix’s annual event that provided us with exclusive teasers and news about the beloved series on the platform. Manifest Season 1 consists of 16 episodes, the first of which was released on September 24, 2018. The season finale aired on February 18, 2019. The episode with the highest rating on IMDb is Episode 1 titled “The Pilot” with 8.0.
The following is the plot summary of the 1st season: The crew and passengers were relieved when Montego Air Journey 828 landed safely after a rough but typical flight. But in those few hours, the globe had aged five years, and their friends, relatives and colleagues had given up hope and moved on after grieving their loss. Now, faced with the impossible, they all got a second chance. But as their new reality becomes apparent, a deeper secret comes to light, and some of the resurrected passengers realize that they may be destined for something greater than they ever imagined.

Manifest Season 2

Unlike the 1st season, Manifest Season 2 includes 13 episodes. Season 2 Episode 1 was released on January 6, 2020 and the season finale aired on April 6, 2020. The fans’ favorite episode from Season 2 is Episode 7 titled “Emergency Exit”. It was rated 8.1 on IMDb. The episode revolves around the passengers of Flight 828 finally making sense of their increasingly dire callings, tensions rise; meanwhile, Ben confronts Adrian; Zeke questions Michaela’s trust.

Manifest Season 3, just like the previous season, consists of 13 episodes. It was released on April 1, 2021, and the series said goodbye to the screens with the season finale, which aired on June 10, 2021. All episodes of Season 3 received positive reviews and have high ratings on IMDb. But the episode with the highest rating on the platform is Episode 13, titled “Mayday: Part 2” with 8.1. Die-hard Manifest fans will remember that the season finale ended with a huge cliffhanger that made us crave for more episodes of the series.
In the season finale, Ben and Vance plan to steal the tail fin while Grace and Olive piece together Cal’s drawings for clues to get Cal back. In exchange for Cal’s drawings of a constellation, Dr. Gupta allows Grace and Olive to take the tail fin. Meanwhile, Eagan and Adrian incite a group of passengers, including Angelina, by claiming the Stones are collaborating with the NSA. Cal reappears as an adult and kneels at his mother’s bedside as she passes away. In the end, Dr. Gupta turns around as she leaves Eureka and sees the pilot get out of the reconstructed plane before he and the plane disappear.

Manifest Season 4

Manifest was canceled by NBC, the original broadcaster of the series, after 3 seasons, which disappeared fans. Fortunately, after the cancelation by NBC, the series was added to Netflix and became one of the most watched series on the streaming platform in no time. Therefore, Netflix decided to revive the series for a 4th and final season.
Luckily, we were allowed to take a look at Manifest Season 4 during Geeked Week 2022, as it was one of the Geeked Week Special shows. A two-minute teaser was released, which we share with you here:
The final season will consist of 20 episodes in total and will be released in 2 or more parts. Filming for the first part was completed in April 2022, and rumor has it that Manifest Season 4 will air on Netflix in November 2022 with the first half. So, we’re counting the days for the upcoming season of our beloved series!

Jared Vasquez
Jared Vasquez is a detective in Manifest portrayed by Cuban actor J.R. Ramirez. He dated Michaela and even proposed to her. But Michaela rejected the proposal, saying she wasn’t ready to get married, and left for Jamaica. Although he didn’t get over Michaela even after she disappeared, he ended up with Lourdes, Michaela’s best friend.
Things got complicated, however, when it turned out that Michaela was still alive. She and Jared slept together. But Lourdes found out that Jared was cheating on her, and so their relationship ended.
