Magi Season 3 Release Date: Renewed Or Cancelled?

Spin-off The Adventures of Sindbad, the final installment of Magi The Labyrinth of Magic, was released in 2016. Fans haven’t heard of the Magi franchise since then and that is why we have been wondering about the Magi Season 3’s release date. The original animation has been out of print since March 2014.

Magi: The Magic of the Labyrinth is a coming-of-age epic narrative that started out as a manga series. Shinobu Ohtaka’s original text was published in June 2009. For eight years, the manga was published in Weekly Shonen Sunday Magazine.

Because of the significant delay in the return, the announcement of the cancellation has sparked some speculations. Magi, on the other hand, is one of those anime series that has the potential to become a high-ranking franchise. The first two seasons of the show had great ratings across the board.

Magi Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in late 2023 or early 2024, however, it might come sooner rather than later. Magi Season 3 might debut as early as October but the delivery may have been hampered by the COVID-19 epidemic, and it’s too early to say if real-world events may cause more delays.

However, learning that “Magi” will come back to screens in the near future would be something to look forward more to, particularly since many anime fans on Reddit believed the franchise’s on-screen journeys ended with the last season of “Magi: Adventure of Sinbad.”

IMDb gives the series a 7.8 out of 10 rating and more than 3000 viewers gave the anime a rating higher than 7. Furthermore, MyAnimeList has a rating of 8.04 stars from half a million people. As the data indicate, the series’ popularity has remained strong. As a result, it is reasonable to assume that the choice to continue the series will not be a difficult one for the creators.

When most readers hear the term Aladdin, they immediately think of Walt Disney’s classic portrayal of the Arabian prince. The character’s origins, however, may be traced back at least to 16th-century folk stories, which have inspired numerous authors throughout the decades.

Stories about the youngster and his genie have even made their way into manga and anime, the most well-known of which is perhaps the “Magi” franchise. The story follows Aladdin as he meets a genie and travels on fantastic adventures, similar to other renditions of the classic tale. In this one, he’s joined by companions Alibaba and Morgiana, both of whom are based on characters from those old stories.

The TV series called “Magi” was broadcast in 2012 and ran till 2014. It was based on Shinobu Ohtaka’s manga of the same name. While the program spawned a spin-off in the shape of “Magi: Adventures of Sinbad,” fans have yearned for a return to the original plot. Seven years is a long time to endure for the next chapter, but all hope is not gone.

As a result, the two of them decide to go on the quest for the Djinn Metal Vessel, which would encase the monster within. The pilot season began with this plot, and Magi is no hentai.
