Killing Eve Season 5

We’re sorry to inform Killing Eve fans, but there isn’t Killing Eve Season 5. In fact, it looks like there will never be a 5th season of the spy thriller series. The BBC series was canceled in March 2021, two months after BBC America announced the launch of Season 4. Unfortunately, however, no reason for the cancelation was announced.

We suspect that the reason for the cancelation of Killing Eve is the mixed reviews that the last two seasons received. We know that seasons 1 and 2 were highly praised by both critics and viewers. Lead actresses Sandra Oh and Judie Comer won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, along with the other slew of awards the series received.

However, the positive reviews that Killing Eve received decreased with time, as well as the awards that the series received. To be precise, in seasons 3 and 4, Killing Eve won only one award, the Location Managers Guild Awards, although it was nominated for many awards. Therefore, there might have been a significant drop in ratings, which may have led to the cancelation of the series.
