We wanted to prepare a list of all Monsters Inc characters ranked because the Disney movie Monsters Inc offers a variety of classic and new characters, some of which are quite entertaining and interesting to follow.
There are many Monsters characters that fans are wanting to see in future movies and episodes, but for the time being, some of the present ones have managed to stand out, and we had to rank them.
The series has several wonderful characters to keep fans interested, but which one could be the 1st one in all Monsters Inc characters ranked list? The characters are ranging from the brilliant and well-known Mike Wazowski to the major character Henry J. Waternoose.

1. James P. Sullivan
James P. Sullivan
Sulley, or James P. Sullivan, is a fictitious character in the Monsters Inc series and John Goodman provides his voice. He got 1st place on our list of Monsters Inc characters ranked. Although Sullivan is not as horrible as Wazowski, he is still a dumb character and he clearly cheats. In the Scare Records, Randall receives a full scream and 20 points while Sullivan gets 40 points. Sullivan is also said to have been the top employee for eleven months in a row, and it just does not seem real considering his character.
2. Mike Wazowski
Mike Wazowski
Michael Wazowski, often known as Mike, is the protagonist of the movie, and he is the 2nd best on our list of Monsters Inc characters ranked. He is a spherical lime green monster with one enormous green eye, and two little horns on his head, so he is easy to distinguish from other monsters. Billy Crystal provides the voice of Mike doing an amazing job.
Some think Wazowski is incredible and amusing, but he is actually as stupid as a pile of rocks.
3. Boo / Mary

Mary Gibbs, commonly known as Boo, is the protagonist of Monsters Inc and she managed to get 3rd place on our list of Monsters Inc characters ranked. She is a young girl who is not afraid of monsters except Randall. Boo leaves her closet to visit the monster world, and she befriends Sulley and Mike Wazowski as expected from her character.
We also have an interesting fact about her: one of the songs Boo sings behind the stalls where Sulley and Mike conceal Boo is “Beauty and the Beast” from the movie of the same name. Her voice actor has the same name as her.
4. Randall Boggs
Randall Boggs
Randall Boggs is one of the two primary villains in the movie which was released in 2001, making him the 4th best character on our list of Monsters Inc characters ranked. Randall is snide and nasty, and he is notably resentful of James P. Sullivan for some obvious reasons. Randall wants to revolutionize the frightening industry by snatching human youngsters, but he cannot achieve his dreams.
Randall was a gentle, shy adolescent monster, but he later changed. He also loved Mike’s behavior as he was the one who made Randall use his talents with confidence.
5. Roz
Roz
Roz is a slug-style monster in the movie and she is the key manager and admin for Scare Floor F. She is holding all the locks to the children’s closet doors, so she is an important figure in the movie, getting the 5th place in our list of Monsters Inc characters ranked.
Even though she is a grumpy slug-like monster with a permanent frown, some fans of the movie like her. Roz is unhappy, especially towards Mike, because he does not file the paperwork he is supposed to do. She does, however, appear to have a compassionate side which was revealed as she gives Mike and Sulley five minutes to say farewell to Boo before her door is destroyed which was a very sad scene for everybody.
6. Celia Mae

Celia Mae is a key character in the movie and we had to include her on our list of Monsters Inc characters ranked. She is the Medusa-like girlfriend of Mike Wazowski, and she is usually a sweetie, especially when it comes to Mike. While she has an explosive temper when enraged, she can cool down instantly with Mike’s words. The snakes in her hair do not talk, but they communicate their feelings with noises.
7. Henry J. Waternoose
Henry J. Waternoose
Henry J. Waternoose III is one of the two primary antagonists along with Randall. He is the third-generation CEO of the company, and he dedicated his life to the company’s development, so he had to be one of the Monsters Inc characters ranked. When Monstropolis is hit by a severe energy crisis caused he makes a desperate effort to salvage his corporation by putting human children at risk. Mr. Waternoose has a peaceful and he is the father figure for Sulley and Mike.
