The 14th season of CBC’s Heartland, which we have watched since 2007, has not been a good season for lovers of this series. We said goodbye to the main character of the series, Ty Borden, in the first episode of the season. So, what was the reason for this and the reasons behind it? Why did Ty Borden leave Heartland? At the beginning of Heartland Season 14, we experienced something unexpected. The season started with a time jump. Now a member of the Fleming family was missing. Ty Borden collapsed on the farm at the end of season three while feeding the horses. Amy and Jack were there to help him, but their presence wasn’t enough to bring him back to life.
Later we learned that Ty Borden died of deep vein thrombosis. His sudden death deeply wounded us all. Not just Amy Fleming. Because we’ve been watching him for almost 14 years, and now he’s like one of our lives.

There are sudden deaths in life, and sometimes we have to deal with it. We think we’ll see how the other members of Heartland ranch can handle this sudden death in the next seasons. Amy is going to raise Lyndy without a father, and this is a big test for her. It will be a different experience for us to see how she will hold on to life with this separation. It’s a little sad, but these are the facts of life.
What Was Ty Borden’s Reason For Leaving Heartland?
And what was his reason for leaving the show? He says that this decision is a difficult process for him, but this is what should happen. He even thinks that this departure will give the series a different dimension. Maybe he might be right. But we’ll still miss him.

We understand from these words that it was a difficult decision for him. He said “It’s been a long process. Long story short, I’m following my heart, I don’t know where it’s taking me, but that’s what life is about: trusting, having faith, and moving forward. I reached a tipping point in internally knowing and connecting with myself, I didn’t ignore what I was being called to do, what I felt I had to do, what I wanted to do. It’s not easy at all. Trying to be thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic to the consequences of this decision. It is very difficult to do in all conditions of life.”
It’s hard for him to make the decision to leave the series, and it’s hard for us to see our favorite character die. However, we will love to watch Heartland. Want Ty back please. It’s not the same show. I cried when he left.
There is so much more to their story that needs to be told.

Why did this happen? It was a beautiful show, there was no reason for this at this time. Who ever made this decision? Was there no reason to discuss this? Was it just another business trick?

It was so shocking that the Heartland let Ty go!!!! What a crazy decision for us all.

They should have left a possibility for him to come back. Letting him die was wrong a plane crash or missing in a remote place so he could be found if he changed his mind in a few years there were a lot of plot twists possible. We would at least have hope that he might return to the show.
