Bentley portrays Jamie Dutton, John and Evelyn Dutton’s second oldest kid (Gretchen Mol). Jamie is frequently upset by his family’s apparent unjustified bias towards him. Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, and Cole Hauser all appear in Yellowstone.

We Are Your Friends is a work of fiction, despite its realistic appearance. Screenwriters Max Joseph and Megan Oppenheimer wrote the script, which was based on a tale by producer Richard Silverman. Silverman decided to produce a film about EDM culture because he saw it as the country’s next major music craze. He links the picture to two other music revolution films, American Graffiti and Saturday Night Fever, in that all three depict the birth of a new sound, rock and roll in the latter two cases, via the perspective of young people rising up in that culture rather than renowned performers.

Bentley made his breakthrough in American Beauty as Ricky Fitts, an adolescent preoccupied with photographing his surroundings with a camera while surreptitiously selling marijuana. He establishes a connection with Jane Burnham after relocating to a new area (Thora Birch).
The film’s main focus is on Jane’s father, Lester (Kevin Spacey), who develops feelings for Jane’s friend, Angela (Mena Suvari). Bentley was shortlisted for a BAFTA for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role and won four accolades for the role.

Astronauts hunt for humanity’s new home in Christopher Nolan’s interstellar epic. Bentley portrays Doyle, a member of the Endurance crew with Joseph Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and Dr. Amelia Brand (Anne Hathaway).
Jessica Chastain, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, and Casey Affleck make up the cast of Interstellar, one of the finest space travel movies of all time. The film went on to become the tenth highest-grossing film in the world in 2014.

Bentley featured as three different characters in seasons 4-6 of American Horror Story: Edward Moardrake in Freak Show, a ghost who gathers souls, John Lowe in Hotel, a policeman who doubles up as a serial murderer, and Dylan in Roanoke, a soldier turned actress.
He appeared in episodes alongside Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Kathy Bates, and was shortlisted for a Critics Choice Award for his part in Hotel.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout, the sixth installment in the action franchise, has Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his crew seeking to locate lost plutonium. Bentley portrays Julia Meade’s (Michelle Monoghan) spouse, who emerges in the film’s final act when Hunt is reunited with his ex-wife.
The film garnered largely excellent reviews and was the tenth highest-grossing film globally in 2018. It starred Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Angela Bassett.

The Hunger Games, based on the best-selling book, follows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who accepts as a “tribute” to replace her sister Primrose (Willow Shields) in an arena-style fight to the death. Seneca Crane, the Head Gamemaker and creator of the eponymous celebrations, is played by Bentley.
The supporting cast of the film includes Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and Donald Sutherland. Bentley did not return in the sequels, but his character is mentioned in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
