George Clooney and Julia Roberts play a divorced couple who decide to work together to sabotage their daughter’s forthcoming wedding in the 2022 romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise. Ol Parker is the film’s director, and he and Daniel Pipski wrote the script. Additionally included are Kaitlyn Dever, Billie Lourd, Maxime Bouttier, and Lucas Bravo.
Universal Pictures’ Ticket to Paradise had its international debut on September 8, 2022, in Barcelona before being made available in the UK on September 20, 2022, and in the US on October 21. Critics have given it a mixed bag of reviews, making it $100 million worldwide.
David and Georgia Cotton are a couple who hate each other and regret their marriage. Their daughter Lily graduates from law school in Bali and marries a local seaweed farmer. David and Georgia sabotage the wedding of Lily and Gede but begin to mend fences with one another. Lily and Gede are about to wed when David and Georgia steal their wedding rings. When Lily discovers the stolen rings, she demands they get on board with the wedding or go home. They decide to stay in Bali and offer their support to the newlyweds.
